Payment Processing
ReefBreeders.com offers several payment methods. Fee-less payments are available via Check, Zelle, or Venmo. Other payment methods incur a transaction fee, which is the exact amount Reef Breeders LLC is charged by the respective merchant to process the transaction. Transaction fees are displayed in the cart prior to checkout and are non-refundable.
Return Policy
Unopened, Unused New Items:
- A 15% restocking fee will be assessed for new, unused items.
- Returns or exchanges are accepted within 60 days of placing your order.
- All items must be brand-new, in original retail packaging with all original packing materials, ie twist ties, baggies, and manuals. A secondary carton must be used to protect the original retail packing.
- Shipping and transaction fees are non refundable and will be deducted from the refund. Prepaid return labels can be sent at cost deducted from your refund. You also have the option to ship returns to the below address with the carrier of your choice:

Opened, Lightly Used Items in Good Condition
- All used lights have a 25% restocking fee
- Return pumps, protein skimmers, and wave makers have a 30% restocking fee
- Returns are accepted within 30 days. After the 30 day period, please refer to our warranty policy.
- All used items must be cleaned prior to returning. For pumps that means a full vinegar bath/RO water rinse and dry. For other items, please use a light microfiber cloth to remove any dust. Lightly dampen the cloth with RO water to remove salt creep if any is present.
- Items must be in like-new sellable condition.
- All items must be returned in original retail packaging with most of the original packing materials, ie twist ties, baggies, and manuals.
- All items must be sent with a plain cardboard box outside the printed retail packaging.
- Shipping and transaction fees are non refundable and will be deducted from the refund. Prepaid return labels can be sent at cost deducted from your refund. You also have the option to ship returns to the below address with the carrier of your choice:

Refund Policy
Refunds are typically issued within 1-2 business days of a return arriving at our warehouse. Please keep in mind that it may take a few business days for the refund to post to your account. We can only issue a refund to the credit/debit card or PayPal account that was used to complete the transaction. If an error was made by the customer when placing an order (ie incorrect address), please contact us as soon as possible with your order number and corrected information. We may be unable to correct an order after it has been shipped. Reef Breeders LLC is unable to issue refunds more than 30 days after items have been received. Our actual cost of shipping is deducted from any refund as well as restocking fees if the item is reconditioned/on clearance. Please refer to our warranty policy for more information on exchanges after the 30 day mark.
