All in-stock orders are typically shipped out within 1-3 business days of the order being placed. If the item is not in stock at the time of order, the shipment time may be longer depending on the period of the back-order. Shipping Carriers and Transit Time
Reef Breeders LLC ships everything using FedEx Ground and Express. The transit time varies based on the size of the box and the destination zone. All orders ship from our Rhode Island warehouse. Typically orders are delivered within 1-5 business days of the order being shipped. Most small orders (under 3 pounds) ship FedEx 2-day Express. Overnight shipping is available at additional cost, please contact us before placing your order to inquire about overnight shipping. We will dispatch a confirmation email with tracking information when your order has been shipped.
We ship world-wide! Any shipment outside of the continental US is considered international, and may or may not incur additional shipping or customs charges, on a case by case basis. We ship world-wide using several major carriers, typically we use FedEx international Priority, or DHL Express, with a 2-5 Day delivery timeframe. We charge a flat $50USD fee for international shipping on a per order basis (not per item). We charge an additional $25 for shipping to AK/HI/PR/APO/FPO addresses. Reef Breeders LLC is not responsible for any duties and/or taxes imposed on the recipient by customs or any other additional fees beyond our control.
All orders over $500 are sent with a signature confirmation as a default, however you can request that we do not require a signature or have the package held for pick-up at your local FedEx office or Walgreens. Reef Breeders LLC accepts no liability for packages that have been delivered without a signature. Once a package is labelled as delivered by the carrier, the order is considered complete. If you require special delivery accommodations please email us before completing your order. Proper delivery is the responsibility of the carrier, and arranging the safe receipt of a package is the liability of the recipient. In the highly unlikely event that a package is lost or stolen in transit, please contact us so that we can file an investigation with the carrier. Reef Breeders LLC is not responsible for lost or stolen packages.
In the unlikely event that an item arrives with damage due to mishandling in transit, please contact us via email within 48 hours of delivery. It is recommended that you contact the shipping carrier first to file a claim.
