What is it?
The ReefBreeders App Integration Kit replaces your Photon Remote with a cloud based wireless app. This allows you to fully control your Photon V2 and V2+ via our ReefBreeders App on your iPhone or Android smartphone. Our app is intuitive, easy to use, and has far more advanced programming capabilities than the default controller. You can control your Photon V2 Pro using your smartphone from anywhere in the world- as long as you are connected to the internet.
The ReefBreeders App Integration Kit replaces your current controller chip, so you will no longer be using the included remote to control your light. All control functions will be handled via our ReefBreeders App.
How Does it Work?
The ReefBreeders App Interface includes everything you need to get started- all that is required is 2.4Ghz home network connected to the internet, and an iOS or Android smartphone or tablet. Once you install the kit and connect your light to the internet, it is fully controlled via our Reef Nexus App.
Will this work with Multiple Photon V2/V2+ Lights?
Absolutely, however you will need one ReefBreeders App Integration kit per Photon V2/V2+. Once each light has the ReefBreeders App Integration kit installed, you can group them together in the app, or program them individually if they are on separate tanks.
Is my light Compatible?
Any of our Photon V2 or Photon V2+ lights can easily be upgraded to the V2 Pro. Legacy lights like the Photon V1, V1 W, SuperLux, and Value fixtures are not compatible. If you are unsure on your light model just reach out to us and we will help you determine your lights compatibility. If your light was purchased new anytime after January of 2016 there is a good chance it’s a V2. V2/V2+ Photon V2 and V2+ will have 6 control channels, and a wireless remote with an LCD screen.

- ReefBreeders App Integration circuit board
- New black powder-coated aluminum side-plate to fit the LED indicator and antenna (protrudes less than 1/4" from the light- and is about the thickness of a credit-card)

I cannot thank Logan enough for his support from replacing the part UPS lost through to my inadequate knowledge of tech !! Great support throughout fro the USA to the UK !!
Heavy tax website never ask, UPS add 57€ extra money to deliver or if I cancel I will be charged 20% of the price by ReefBreeder if I cancel the order !
Once I receive, the material don’t fit as expected on the support, so the small light who indicate the device status was no visible.
Really hard to set the device working with WiFi process… so I regret buying this integration kit.
The app have nice feature for sharing yours parameters and set you tank with parameters others already set.

To address your concerns regarding import taxes:
We are not responsible for import duties and VAT levied by your local government. It seems that you have not ordered internationally before. Taxes and tariffs are unfortunately a way of life. In France, everything you buy has a 20% tax applied, it's just hidden in the total price. France has imposed VAT taxes since 1954 at around the same rate, so this should not be a surprise. Our local government does not impose VAT, and we are not required to collect VAT for other localities. That's all outlined in our shipping policy. The restocking fees are neccesary as it costs both time and money to process a return, on top of no longer being able to sell a returned item as new. This is outlined in our return policy.
The Indicator LED will fit the endcap when the board is properly positioned- this same board is already installed in thousands of Photon V2 Pros without issue. You are welcome to reach out for further guidance on how to position the board. Most likely the endcap just needs to be adjusted. Back up the 4 screws securing the endcap about halfway- then hold it in the correct position, and tighten each screw one by one.
The installation of the product is super easy and straightforward worst case scenario you can always go to the website and they have a how-to video The product works as described it was especially useful in my case where my remote broke and it was no longer able to turn on and off my light or adjust light settings such as blues and whatnot I was able to save my SPS before it was too late because this thing came in the nick of time however the shipping was kind of annoying on that I paid specifically for 5-day shipping and it took over 10 so that was a little irritating but I digress still love the product
