ReefBreeders LED Lighting Warranty Policy

Limited Warranty Statement
ReefBreeders, LLC ("ReefBreeders") warrants its LED lighting systems including the Meridian, Meridian Edge, Photon V2 Pro, Pico LED, Pico LED V2, and Reef Nano LED ("Product"), excluding external power supplies (AC/DC converters), to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and proper maintenance for a period of two (2) years from the original date of purchase. External power supplies are warranted separately for one (1) year from the original purchase date. Extended warranties are available for purchase, subject to separate terms and conditions provided upon purchase.

Coverage
During the applicable Warranty Period, ReefBreeders will, at its sole discretion, repair or replace any defective Product or component thereof. Coverage includes:

• Internal electronic components, including LED diodes, internal wiring, connectors, drivers, manual control boards, and app control boards
• Integrated cooling fans
• Physical structural components, including aluminum housing, optics, mounting hardware, and screws

Replacement parts provided under this warranty are warranted for the remainder of the original Warranty Period.

Warranty Exclusions
This warranty explicitly excludes damages or defects resulting from:

• Water and Moisture Damage: Direct contact with water or excessive moisture due to improper installation or maintenance.
• Physical Damage or Misuse: Damages caused by dropping, accidents, or improper handling.
• Electrical Issues: Damages resulting from power surges, improper voltage, lightning strikes, or incorrect electrical installations.
• Improper Installation:
  • Installation within unventilated aquarium canopies. All canopies must have adequate ventilation (such as ventilation fans).
  • Installation of lights less than 8 inches above the water surface.
  • External power supply installations lacking a minimum of 6 inches of clearance around all sides except one side (typically the bottom).
• Unauthorized Modifications: Modifications or alterations performed using non-approved parts, or improper installation of ReefBreeders components without prior written approval.
• Force Majeure Events: Damage due to events beyond control, including floods, earthquakes, storms, or other natural disasters.
• Indirect or Consequential Damages: Including, but not limited to, livestock, aquarium equipment damage, personal property, or economic losses resulting from the Product’s malfunction or failure.

Authorized Accessories & Modifications
Official ReefBreeders accessories and replacement components may be installed without voiding the warranty, provided installation is performed in strict accordance with ReefBreeders’ instructions. Customers unsure of proper installation procedures should consult ReefBreeders customer support prior to installation.

Warranty Claim Procedure
To submit a warranty claim, customers must:

1. Complete the warranty claim submission via the official contact form at: www.reefbreeders.com/pages/contact.
2. Provide valid proof of purchase clearly indicating the purchase date and retailer.
3. Submit clear photographic and/or video evidence detailing the issue.

Products purchased from authorized third-party retailers must be registered within ninety (90) days from the purchase date through the ReefBreeders Warranty Registration page (Warranty Registration). Products purchased directly from ReefBreeders do not require separate registration.

Repair and Replacement Conditions
Upon receipt, inspection and processing will typically be completed within one to five (1–5) business days. ReefBreeders reserves the exclusive right to determine the appropriate remedy (repair or replacement).

• Customers are responsible for shipping costs associated with returning defective Products for warranty evaluation. Discounted return shipping labels may be provided by ReefBreeders upon request.
• ReefBreeders will cover outbound shipping costs of repaired or replacement Products within the United States.
• Refusal of recommended repairs or replacements by the customer shall immediately void this warranty.

International Warranty Coverage
Customers located outside the United States are responsible for all shipping costs (both inbound and outbound). International customers may choose self-installation of replacement components, paying only associated shipping costs.

Transferability
This warranty is exclusively valid for the original purchaser and is non-transferable. Extended warranties with transferable terms may be available for purchase separately.

Limitation of Liability
ReefBreeders' total liability under this warranty is strictly limited to the original purchase price of the Product. ReefBreeders expressly disclaims liability for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including loss of livestock, pets, personal property, or economic losses arising from the use or inability to use the Product.

This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Certain jurisdictions may not permit limitations on implied warranties or exclusion of incidental or consequential damages; accordingly, these limitations may not apply to you.

ReefBreeders Auto Top-Off (ATO) Warranty Policy

Limited Warranty Statement
ReefBreeders, LLC ("ReefBreeders") warrants the ReefBreeders Auto Top-Off (ATO) System, comprising the sensor, pump, and power supply (collectively, the "Product"), to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and proper maintenance for a period of two (2) years from the original date of purchase ("Warranty Period"). Extended warranties are available for purchase, subject to separate terms and conditions provided upon purchase.

Coverage
During the Warranty Period, ReefBreeders will, at its sole discretion, repair or replace any defective Product or component thereof. This warranty specifically includes:

• Electronic components, including sensors, internal wiring, connectors, and power supply
• Submersible pump
• Physical structural components, including housing and magnetic mounting hardware

Replacement parts provided under this warranty are warranted for the remainder of the original Warranty Period.

• Physical Damage or Misuse: Including, without limitation, improper handling, magnets being forcefully snapped together, siphons due to incorrect installation, accidents, or neglect.

• Improper Installation: Damage caused by installation procedures not in accordance with ReefBreeders' provided installation guidelines.
• Unauthorized Modifications: Modifications or alterations performed using non-approved parts or accessories, or improper installation of ReefBreeders components without prior written consent.

ReefBreeders Submersible Pump Warranty Policy

Limited Warranty Statement

ReefBreeders, LLC (“ReefBreeders”) warrants the following products to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and proper maintenance for the applicable Warranty Period listed below. Covered products include the Nautilus DC Return Pump series (all sizes) and the Reef Power wavemakers, models RP-12.5, RP-25, and RP-45, and the RP-M V2. Extended warranties may be available for purchase and are subject to separate terms provided at the time of purchase.

Warranty Periods

• Nautilus DC Return Pumps, all sizes, two years from the original date of purchase
• Reef Power RP-12.5, RP-25, RP-45, two years from the original date of purchase
• Reef Power RP-M V2, eighteen months from the original date of purchase

Replacement parts provided under this warranty are warranted for the remainder of the original Warranty Period.

Coverage

During the Warranty Period, ReefBreeders will, at its sole discretion, repair or replace a defective product or component. Covered components include:

• Electronic components, controllers, internal wiring, connectors, and power supplies
• Submersible motor blocks and impellers for return pumps
• Wet side and propeller assemblies, cages, and magnetic mounting hardware for wavemakers
• Physical structural components and housings

Warranty Exclusions

This warranty does not cover damage or defects resulting from:

• Physical damage or misuse, including improper handling, impacts, exposure to foreign objects or debris, operation outside stated specifications, or neglect
• Electrical issues, including power surges, voltage fluctuations, lightning, or the use of improper power supplies
• Improper installation or operation not in accordance with ReefBreeders’ instructions, including running a pump dry, incorrect mounting or spacing of magnet mounts, or submerging non-submersible components
• Unauthorized modifications or the use of non-approved parts or accessories
• Force majeure events, including floods, earthquakes, storms, or other natural disasters
• Indirect or consequential damages, including loss of livestock, aquarium equipment, personal property, or economic loss resulting from product failure
• Normal wear and tear and cosmetic changes that do not affect function

Authorized Accessories and Modifications

Official ReefBreeders accessories and replacement components may be installed without voiding the warranty, provided installation follows ReefBreeders’ instructions. If you are unsure of proper procedures, contact ReefBreeders support before installing.
