The Bluetooth issue is almost certainly a firmware version thing rather than a problem with the light itself. If it never toggled into pairing mode (no flashing purple indicator), it likely shipped with an older firmware build that predates the Bluetooth feature.

The good news is we can push that update to your light remotely. All we need is for the light to be connected to the internet over WiFi, which it already is. Reach out to us and we'll take care of it on our end, and once it's updated you'll be able to connect over Bluetooth going forward.

We're also rolling out in-app firmware updates over the next few weeks, so this will be something you can do yourself. WiFi is still required for the update itself, but after that Bluetooth is available.
