The Meridian 35 is a 225-watt reef light with an extended violet range, interchangeable optics, and control from the app or an optional manual controller. With the included optics it covers 48 by 24 inches of mixed reef.

What you notice first
Most people see it before they measure anything. The tank looks clearer, almost as if it has shifted into high definition. Coral edges become more defined, natural textures become visible, and the reef looks sharper from every viewing angle rather than only from straight on. That clarity is the whole reason the Meridian exists: the strongest growth, the strongest color, and the cleanest overall look modern lighting can offer.
What the corals do
Coral results are often dramatic. Colonies grow faster. Long-term slow growers begin putting on new tissue. Frags heal faster. Corals produce colors their keepers had never seen under previous lighting. Growers running the Meridian have reported major improvements within three months, often including completely new growth patterns and color expression.
The spectrum behind it
The Meridian delivers an extended violet range running from 400nm through 440nm, including true 440nm indigo LEDs. Those wavelengths are rarely included in aquarium lighting, and they are the ones tied to rapid tissue recovery, strong color development, and steady growth that limited-spectrum fixtures struggle to match. Spectrum tuned for coral growth and coloration
No wasted energy. A wider violet and near-UV range than most reef lighting, including true 440nm indigo. High CRI neutral and warm white LEDs provide exceptional color renditioning.

Choosing a layout

Original

Choose this if you want the bluer of the two looks and the full four indigo LEDs.

Shallow Reef

OHM optics
Ocular Holo Matrix optics change the shape of the beam, which changes how wide the light spreads and how deep it drives coral growth. The Meridian 35 takes 3 optics, one for each 24-LED matrix, and ships with Balance installed. You can mix spreads across them to suit your aquascape.

ExpandAdding Edge bars
Edge bars mount to the Meridian's front and rear tracks with Edge Articulating Mounts. Each adds up to 6 inches of front-to-back coverage with Edge OHM Focus, or up to 10 inches with Edge OHM Balance. There are two ways to power them.
Daisy chain them
Run the Meridian and the bars from one larger power supply, connected with a daisy chain cable. Both are sold separately.
Separate supplies
Keep each light on its own power supply, the same setup the Meridian 63 bundle uses.

InstallationMounting and daisy chaining
Mount it your way
Suspend it, mount it to the back or sides of the tank, or slide it into a T-track, using the adjustable M6 bolts on top of the case. The Integrated Connection System links fixtures end to end. Mount 10 to 14 inches above the waterline.
Daisy chain up to 600W
One power input and one output port let multiple Meridians and Edge bars share a single power supply, up to 600 watts combined. That takes a larger supply and daisy chain cables, sold separately.
App control, with an optional manual controller
The ReefBreeders app
Six-channel control with schedules, smooth sunrise and sunset ramps, and moon phase simulation based on your location, or start from schedules shared by the community. Your program is saved on the light itself, so it keeps running through a WiFi outage or with no phone nearby.
Connect over 2.4GHz WiFi for cloud access and groups of lights, or over Bluetooth straight from your phone. They are separate modes chosen at setup. Switching later takes a 5-second hold on the reset button with the included key, which restores the light to factory defaults.
The Manual Controller
Sold separately, it plugs into the port on top of the case. Two knobs set white and blue intensity from 0 to 100%, and a built-in timer runs 8, 10, or 12 hours with a one-hour sunrise and sunset, plus an optional moonlight mode. No app or network needed.

Built for the long term
