The new Coral Box DCA pumps are the latest product in the affordable DC return pump revolution.
The secret is in the innovative new controller, which has a myriad of new features in addition to adjusting your pump and feed times. The new controller includes built in wave functions, a float switch that can be used for emergency shutoff, and an apex ready port.
Every DCA pump can be controlled via a Neptune Apex VDM 0-10v port. You can purchase the necessary cable for VDM controller here.
The body of the pump including the input/output measures 6 3/8″ x 3 1/2″ x 4 3/4″ (LWH) and 7 3/4″ L with the intake grille. This pump has 3/4″, 1″, 1 1/4″ and 1 1/2″ barb output for vinyl tubing and a 1.5″ threaded Male input and output.

I’d put my coralbox dca up against any high end pump in the DC market. I’ve now had several on my tanks and this new Dca6000 is nothing short of great. And it’s backed by Reefbreeders exceptional service. This pump is dead silent. You can’t hear it at all. I have it connected directly to my Apex with the included cord and I have various surge periods to help change flow throughout my tank to clean it out. The new Apex compatability is as simple as it gets. It’s plug and play and being DC it’s simple to get the exact flow you need. If your in the fence because these seem cheap in price compared to the high end high marketed pumps out there I would jump on these. I’ve yet to have a coral box pump fail. These aren’t the old jebao pumps that saw some failures and had no service or warranty. These are backed by Reefbreeders and they stand behind thier products as good or better than any company I’ve ever dealt with.

So lock yourself in a closet and listen very carefully, that sound is my pump running and you can here it at your house hundreds of miles away. Dead silent no hum no anything if the water wasn’t moving I wouldn’t believe it was running. Day one super impressive hopefully this lasts for years to come.
